Before joining Natra, Vasco worked at RockWinds from December 2015 to December 2019, where they held the position of Cocoa Products Trader. Earlier in their career at Natra, they held roles such as Head of Purchasing from May 2014 to December 2015, Corporate Purchasing Manager from March 2011 to May 2014, and Purchasing Manager from March 2001 to May 2014.

Vasco Acursio holds a Master's degree in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), which they completed from 2000 to 2001. Vasco also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração de Coimbra, graduating in 1995. Vasco further expanded their education by participating in an Erasmus program at Université libre de Bruxelles in 1997 and 1998. Earlier, they studied Economics at Universidade de Coimbra from 1995 to 1999.
