Filip Onraedt has a diverse work experience in the supply chain and procurement field. Filip started their career at Chocolaterie Jacali nv as a Purchaser in 1997 and worked there until 2005. In 2005, they joined Natrajacali as a Business Unit Purchaser and later took on the role of Supply Chain Manager. Filip also worked at Natra as a Business Unit Purchaser and eventually progressed to become the Strategic Sourcing Manager. In 2013, they joined Natra USA as a Supply Chain Manager for a year. Since September 2020, they have been working at Natra as the Raw Material Sourcing Director.

Filip Onraedt attended Kluwer Opleidingen in 2012, where they studied Emotionele intelligentie & NLP. In 2009, they also attended Vlerick Business School for a program on Persoonlijk Meesterschap: Zelfmanagement als sleutel tot loopbaansucces. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy-Fiscality at HOGENT from 1994 to 1997. Their earliest education was at OLVO, where they did not pursue a specific degree.
