Alison Keefe

Manager, Data Engineering at Natron Energy

Alison Keefe has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Alison began their career as an NSERC Student Chemist at BioVectra Inc. in 2012. In 2014, they held a Technical Analyst role at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada and also worked as an NSERC USRA Photonics Research Student at Carleton University. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Antenna Engineer at MacDonald Dettwiler & Assoc., where they used optimization techniques and software tools to find solutions to communication antenna design problems. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Graduate Student in Materials Engineering at Dalhousie University, where they conducted research on improving the lifetime and energy density of lithium-ion batteries. Alison currently works as a Test Engineer at Natron Energy.

Alison Keefe attended Dalhousie University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master's of Engineering in Materials Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Carleton University from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Co-op Option in Engineering Physics. Alison transferred from the University of Prince Edward Island, where they had obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from 2011 to 2013.
