Doug Countess

Doug Countess is the current Chief Operating Officer at Natron Energy. Doug has previously served as the Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at First Solar, where they were responsible for expanding local operations capacity and developing a cost of goods sold tracking and reporting system for global manufacturing. Prior to that, they were the Reactive Ion Etch Process Engineering Leader at Qimonda, where they were responsible for process engineering team leadership, manufacturing process continuous improvement and development, wafer / die yield and reliability, and implementation of lean concepts in engineering. Doug Countess has a proven track record of success in both ramping up production output and improving manufacturing processes.

Doug Countess holds a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Microprocessor Systems, and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College in Operation Management. Doug also holds certifications from ASQ in Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Scrum.org in Professional Scrum Master, and Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).
