Hannah Israel

Director of Data and Analytics at Natron Energy

Hannah Israel has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Hannah started their career as an intern at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, where they developed a UV absorbing adhesive and created a defect analysis database. Hannah then worked as a Rheology Research Intern at the Institute for Polymer Materials, where they investigated polymer interaction and created a new model for predicting polymer melt behavior. Hannah also gained research experience at MIT as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Donald Sadoway Group, focusing on liquid metal batteries and conducting corrosion and operation tests.

Transitioning into the engineering field, they joined Natron Energy as a Battery Engineer, responsible for engineering and development of battery systems. Over the years, they progressed to roles such as Senior Engineer, Lead Test Engineer, and Data and Analytics Manager before becoming the Director of Data and Analytics. In these positions, they played a key role in data analysis, testing, and managing the data and analytics team.

Hannah's work experience demonstrates their expertise in battery technology, polymer materials, research, and data analysis. Their diverse background makes their a valuable asset in various industries, with a strong foundation in engineering and analytics.

Hannah Israel attended The Brearley School from 1995 to 2008, where they did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Hannah continued their academic journey at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the same field of study.
