Paul Luebbers has been working in the engineering and manufacturing industries since 1999. Paul began their career at LR Nelson as a Manufacturing Process Engineer in 1999. Paul then moved on to Kress Corporation in 2000 as an Industrial Design Engineer, where they designed manufacturing support equipment and facility improvements. In 2001, they became a Senior Design Engineer at ElecSys Division, DCX-Chol, where they designed mil-spec parts for aerospace and defense customers and supported manufacturing with assembly equipment design/build. In 2003, they joined DAXCON Engineering as an Analysis Manager. In 2005, Paul founded Lumec LLC and became the Managing Partner. Paul then founded Mid-Illini Technical Group (MTG) in 2007 as President and Founder. In 2008, they became CEO and Chief Technology Officer at Lumec Control Products, Inc., where they focused on the design, development, and commercialization of new technologies to solve known industrial process control problems. Paul then moved to Energy Innovations LLC in 2016 as Founder. In 2018, they joined Rheo Engineering as Director of Controls & Automation, and in 2021, they became Engineering Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Natural Fiber Welding.
Paul Luebbers received a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995. Paul then went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the same university in 1997.
