Ben Scott

Ben Scott is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in AI and innovation within the museum sector. Currently serving as Head of AI and Innovation at the Natural History Museum since November 2010, Ben Scott is the lead architect on the Museum’s data portal and previously contributed as a senior developer on the EU-funded ViBRANT project. Prior to this role, Ben Scott co-founded Richseam as CTO, creating a platform for discovering music through artist collaborations. Earlier career highlights include directing Brighton Digital Ltd., focusing on Drupal development, and working as a freelance web developer. Ben Scott holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Brighton and a BA in History from the University of Sussex.
