Denis Gyeyir is an experienced professional in natural resource governance with a focus on sustainable development in Ghana. Currently serving as Country Manager and Africa Senior Program Officer at the Natural Resource Governance Institute since May 2020, Denis leads research initiatives and supports transparency in the extractive sector. Previous roles at the Public Interest and Accountability Committee included Assistant Technical Manager, where responsibilities encompassed program design, fundraising, and media relations. Denis has also contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer in Oil and Gas Management and has held various volunteer and internship positions that enhanced expertise in governance and development. Denis holds a Master of Science in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University and a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies.
