Andrew H. has extensive experience in international trade policy and diplomacy, currently serving as the Director of the G7 Task Force at Natural Resources Canada since February 2021, focusing on natural resource outcomes for Canada’s G7 Presidency year in 2025. Prior to this, Andrew held various leadership positions, including Director of Global Trade Policy and Acting Director General of the International and Intergovernmental Affairs Branch, where responsibilities included strategic analysis and international engagement. Andrew's career at Global Affairs Canada spanned nearly two decades, featuring positions such as Regional Trade Commissioner, Foreign Service Officer, and Head of Office in Germany, with expertise in trade promotion, policy development, and business support for Canadian companies. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Victoria.
