Ashley Mercer

Ashley Mercer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and policy analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Director at Natural Resources Canada since September 2015, previous roles include Director, Assistant Program Director, and Senior Policy Analyst within the same organization. Prior to NRCan, Ashley Mercer held the position of Manager at the North Slave Research Centre, Aurora Research Institute, from 2014 to September 2015, and was the Acting Manager of Scientific Services with the Government of the Northwest Territories in 2008-2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Interdisciplinary Graduate Program from the University of Calgary, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Science from McMaster University.
