Elizabeth Heyd has been with the Natural Resources Defense Council since July 1999, currently holding the position of Media Associate. Elizabeth provides support for various teams within the organization and has previously worked on different projects related to climate, clean energy, water, health, government affairs, and more. Prior to NRDC, Heyd gained experience in communications at WUSA-TV and Hill and Knowlton. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Ohio Wesleyan University, as well as certifications in sustainable development and social innovation from Coursera.
