Leah Stecher

Leah Stecher is a seasoned professional in the publishing and policy sectors, currently serving as a Senior Policy Publications Editor at the Natural Resources Defense Council since January 2019. Previously, Leah held editorial positions at Hachette Book Group, acquiring and editing notable works in history, biography, culture, and current events. Leah's editorial expertise includes contributions to several bestsellers and award-nominated titles. Additional roles include assistant analyst at Peter D. Hart Research Associates, where project management and communications were key responsibilities, and internships that provided broad experience in research and editing. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French from Bowdoin College and has furthered studies at La Sorbonne and L’Institute Catholique de Paris.
