Melody Irby

Melody Irby is an experienced professional in fundraising and external relations, currently serving as a Membership Gift Officer at the Natural Resources Defense Council since January 2018. Melody has held various roles in nonprofit organizations, including Director of External Relations for The Indie-Ballet Collaborative since May 2012, and has extensive experience at Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, where roles included Senior Manager of Special Events and Special Events Manager from November 2013 to January 2018. Prior experience includes management positions at the New York Restoration Project and Wildlife Conservation Society, as well as formative roles in guest relations and public relations at the Nederlander Producing Company of America and Kiehl's Since 1851, respectively. Melody holds a BA in Advertising, Marketing and Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology, completed in 2008.
