Benjamin Tam

Benjamin Tam serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Isle Utilities, leading efforts to develop new growth areas and implement innovative technologies in the water sector. With a wealth of experience in strategic consulting and innovation management, Benjamin has held various roles focused on optimizing water operations and managing projects that enhance clean water treatment and distribution. Previously, Benjamin was an Innovation Programme Manager at Anglian Water Services, where initiatives aimed at designing future water companies were spearheaded. Additional roles include Operating Partner at Natural Ventures and Director at the Institute of Water, while also chairing the UK Committee for the International Water Association. Benjamin holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool, with early experience as a volunteer at Friends of the Earth.
