Sydney Lezberg

Program Coordinator at Naturalists At Large

Sydney Lezberg is a dedicated professional with a strong background in ecology and outdoor education. Currently serving as a Scientific Aid at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife since June 2023, Sydney previously held multiple roles at Naturalists At Large, including Program Coordinator and Outdoor Educator, Lead Instructor, from 2018 to the present. Prior experience includes a position as a Server at California Burger and extensive leadership as a Trip Leader, Raft Guide, Rafting Center Manager, and Operations Technician at Kern River Outfitters from June 2017 to August 2020. Additionally, Sydney gained valuable laboratory experience as a Lab Intern with both the Partnership for the Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans and Page Lab, focusing on marine microorganisms and benthic macroinvertebrates. Sydney earned a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Barbara in June 2017.
