Amanda Rider

Amanda Rider is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in custom media and scientific research. Since September 2014, Amanda has served as Chief Editor for APAC at Nature Portfolio, previously holding roles as Senior Editor and Associate Editor in Partnership & Custom Media. Education includes a PhD in Physics from the University of Sydney and an MBA in Management from the University of Technology, Sydney. Prior to her current role, Amanda contributed as an Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney and worked as an OCE Postdoctoral Fellow at CSIRO, with significant research focused on the integration of plasma physics and plasmonics for sensor optimization. Amanda also has experience in academic settings as a Laboratory Demonstrator and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles.
