Ana Paula Donnelly

Ana Paula Donnelly is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in editorial roles and scientific research. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at Nature Portfolio since May 2022, Donnelly previously held various positions at Springer Nature Group, including BMC Series Editor and manuscript editing roles for multiple BMC journals. With a comprehensive research background, Donnelly was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the National Suicide Research Foundation, managing projects focused on suicide risk assessment, and conducted significant research at the APC Microbiome Institute and in academia, culminating in a PhD in Pharmacology from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. Additionally, Donnelly has contributed to education as a lecturer and developed online courses in Psychopharmacology.
