Meg Jakubowski has a diverse background in education and environmental science. Meg has held roles such as National Director of Education and Senior Education Director at NatureBridge, where they implemented national education initiatives, led teams, and worked on equity and diversity initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a tutor at Great Expectations College Prep, a secondary science teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District, a naturalist at East Bay Regional Park District, and a Ship Program Manager at Marine Science Institute.
Meg Jakubowski completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Ecology, Ethology, & Evolution at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1998 to 2001. Meg later pursued a Teaching Credential in Secondary Science Education at California State University, Northridge from 2009 to 2010. Meg also holds additional certifications including Wilderness First Responder from NOLS WMI and CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross.
