Mirabai Alexander is a conservation professional with extensive experience in ecology and environmental education. Currently serving as the Coordinator for Conservation Biology in Northwestern Ontario at the Nature Conservancy of Canada since 2022, Mirabai previously held the role of Interpretation Coordinator at Parks Canada (2020 - 2022), where expertise was applied in natural and cultural history interpretation. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environment and Resource Studies from the University of Waterloo. Mirabai has also contributed to higher education as a lecturer at Okanagan College and the University of British Columbia, while research experiences span avian monitoring and biodiversity assessment.
