Samantha Ceci is a dedicated conservation professional currently serving as a Conservation Biologist at the Nature Conservancy of Canada since December 2022. Prior to this role, Samantha was the Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area Coordinator at the Eskasoni Fish and Wildlife Commission and worked as a Teaching Assistant for Environmental Impact Assessment at Dalhousie University. Samantha's experience includes positions as a Parks Program Summer Student with the Government of Nova Scotia and an Ecosystem Restoration Technician with Helping Nature Heal Inc. In earlier roles, Samantha contributed as a Business Development Associate and a Product Development Associate at Canadian Hospital Specialties Ltd., as well as conducting research at the University of Waterloo. Academic credentials include a Master of Resource and Environmental Management from Dalhousie University, with ongoing professional specialization in Ecological Restoration and Sustainable Trails from the University of Victoria and Fleming College, respectively, alongside an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo.
