Luana Maia

Luana Maia currently serves as a Senior Associate at NatureFinance, focusing on aligning global finance with nature-positive and equitable outcomes. Previously, Luana held the position of Director of Operations and Strategic Planning at the Conselho Empresarial Brasileiro para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (Cebds) and engaged in independent consulting, collaborating with notable institutions such as Chatham House and the Environmental Research Institute of the Amazon (Ipam). Luana's earlier roles include Executive Coordinator at Coalizão Brasil Clima, Florestas e Agricultura, and Coordinator of Institutional Relations at UNICA, overseeing international delegation relations. Experience with the United Nations included technical training and responsibilities for the Global Compact network in Brazil. Luana's educational background encompasses degrees in sustainability, business management, law, and international relations, complemented by studies at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
