Chelsey Hinnenkamp is a seasoned professional in food science with expertise in product development and research focused on alternative proteins. Currently serving as the Product Development Manager at Nature's Fynd, Chelsey leads a team in innovating meal solutions using a novel fungal protein. Previous roles include Senior Product Developer at The ISH™ Food Company, where Chelsey successfully launched a plant-based culinary cream, and Senior Scientist with significant contributions to plant-based seafood products. With a strong educational background, including a PhD and multiple degrees in Food Science from the University of Minnesota, Chelsey has extensive experience in research and development, collaboration with culinary experts, and regulatory compliance.
