Mike Saunders has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of science and innovation. Mike currently holds the position of Vice President of Science and Innovation at NSP since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Product Development at Brilliant Science from June 2020 to December 2021.
From 2016 to 2020, Mike worked at Unicity International, where they held the roles of Director of Research and Development and Principal Formulation Scientist. Mike's educational background includes being a graduate student at the University of California from August 2001 to July 2003, where they focused on the synthesis of heterocycles for studying nucleic acid small molecule interactions and gained expertise in various analytical techniques.
Mike Saunders earned their M.S. in Organic Chemistry from UC San Diego, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.
