Brenda van Goethem

Brenda Van Goethem has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Brenda began their career in 1988 as a Microbiologist at Doskocil Foods before moving on to various roles in quality assurance and management in the food industry. Brenda worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Ore-Ida Foods, Inc., a Quality Assurance Team Leader at Schreiber Foods, and a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Michael Foods. Brenda then joined Enzymatic Therapy, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Specialist and later worked as a Scientific Development Manager at EuroPharma, Inc.

In 2006, Brenda transitioned to the field of regulatory compliance and project analysis. Brenda served as a Project Analyst at Nerac, where they advised food and nutraceutical clients, conducted intellectual property research, and evaluated compliance for dietary supplement formulations. Subsequently, Brenda joined Nature's Way, where they held roles such as Regulatory Affairs-QA Manager, Director of Regulatory Affairs, Director of Quality Systems, and currently, the Director of Regulatory Compliance & Change Management. At Nature's Way, Brenda developed solutions to regulatory issues, oversaw new product launches, and ensured legal compliance and qualified suppliers.

Throughout their career, Brenda has demonstrated a strong ability to address compliance risks, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and align corporate policies with applicable regulations. Brenda has also been involved in strategic planning, change management, and maintaining accurate and compliant labeling and advertising. Brenda's expertise lies in regulatory compliance, quality systems management, IP research, market analysis, and dietary supplement formulations.

Brenda Van Goethem obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988.
