Heather Baierl has a diverse work experience in the fields of regulatory affairs and quality assurance. Heather began their career at Georgia-Pacific LLC, where they worked as a Quality Control Technician from August 2001 to February 2004. Heather then served as a Technical Specialist from February 2004 to April 2010.
In April 2010, Heather joined Nature's Way as a QA Contract Bulk Specialist, responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance of the company's product line. Heather worked closely with regulatory authorities, primarily the FDA, and implemented changes to the company's QA policies and procedures.
Heather's role at Nature's Way evolved over time, and they took on various positions in the International Regulatory Department. From October 2015 to March 2018, they served as an International Regulatory Affairs Coordinator, providing technical expertise for international product registration and customer-oriented projects. Heather reviewed labeling and licensing information and collaborated with other departments to ensure accuracy.
From March 2018 to August 2019, Heather worked as an International Regulatory Technical Review Coordinator II. Heather performed regulatory review and approval of international product labels and formula specifications while supporting global product registration efforts and collaborating on special projects.
In August 2019, Heather became a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator, responsible for finalizing the Supplement Facts Panel (SFP) and other label changes. Heather created and updated the labeling policy, provided training to new team members, and ensured the integrity of labeling and regulatory documentation.
In March 2023, Heather transitioned to the role of Label Compliance Coordinator at Nature's Way. Heather is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant labeling of dietary supplements, OTC drugs, and food. Heather works with cross-functional teams to translate information into finished product labeling and supports various functions within the Quality Systems Department.
Throughout their career, Heather Baierl has demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, labeling, and international product registration. Heather has also developed strong relationships with cross-functional teams and contributed to the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
Heather Baierl attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Heather pursued double majors in Chemistry and Human Biology with an emphasis on Health Science. In addition to their formal education, Heather Baierl also obtained certifications in Foundations: Labeling of FDA Regulated Foods from AIB International, Inc in April 2019, and in Notary Public from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions in September 2017.
