Andrew Buxton is an experienced professional in environmental conservation and education, currently serving as a Trustee and Applications Committee Member at the Patsy Wood Trust since April 2014, where responsibilities include critically reviewing project applications. Andrew holds the position of Head of Science at NatureSpace Partnership and has previously worked as a Lecturer in Environment and Land Management at Royal Agricultural University. Additionally, experience includes roles at Amphibian and Reptile Conservation as a Project Officer, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Kent, with a focus on environmental DNA and statistical modeling. Andrew's background includes a PhD in Biodiversity Management from the University of Kent and a degree in Zoology from the University of Glasgow, along with various roles that emphasize conservation, habitat management, and ecological research.
