Chad Kamann

Chad Kamann's work experience includes working as an Applications Development Engineer at NatureWorks LLC from February 1998 to the present. In this role, they collaborated with sales management and corporate account managers to develop product parameters that meet the commercial needs of the customer.

Chad conducted trials on the fiber extrusion line and melt blown line to prove the validity of a fiber/nonwoven application and offer customers guidance toward commercialization. Chad also worked on new product development projects, starting from lab-scale development to commercial production.

Chad organized and participated in off-campus product development trials at customer locations and institutions, including selecting and shipping materials, developing trial plans, and communicating trial outcomes to key stakeholders within NatureWorks.

Additionally, Chad served as a Capability Manager for two applications within NatureWorks, determining key tasks to be accomplished to meet company goals.

Before joining NatureWorks, Chad worked briefly as a Quality Control employee at Pillsbury Food Services in 1998, and as a Quality Assurance employee at MN Corn Processors from February 1997 to November 1997.

Chad Kamann completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth between 1991 and 1996. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on business at Cardinal Stritch University from 2001 to 2003.
