Grant Braasch has extensive work experience in various roles within the chemical industry. Grant began their career in 1996 at Cargill, where they worked as a Cost Accountant, handling month-end closing, inventory management, and financial statement preparation for different Cargill Salt businesses across multiple locations.

In 1999, Grant joined NatureWorks, starting as a Cost Accountant and eventually transitioning to a Sales Operations Specialist role. In this position, they managed direct resin buying accounts and supported the promotion of compostable food serviceware for various organizations.

From 2004 to 2018, Grant held the position of Business Development Manager at NatureWorks. Grant was responsible for managing direct resin buying accounts for extrusion and thermoforming of Ingeo biopolymer in the fresh food packaging and foodservice sectors. Grant also played a key role in driving demand for Ingeo by collaborating with Walmart/Sam's Club and working with produce growers and processors.

In 2019, Grant became the Pricing Manager at NatureWorks, where they built the strategic pricing function and optimized pricing while providing guidance to the global sales organization. Grant utilized various tools such as SAP, Zilliant, Excel, Salesforce, and Sharepoint in this role.

Grant Braasch attended Bethel University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting and Finance. In addition to their degree, they obtained certification as a Certified Management Accountant from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in August 1999. Grant later achieved the Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) designation from the Professional Pricing Society in December 2022.
