Daniel Coates

Daniel Coates is currently employed as a Data Scientist at NatWest Group since October 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel served as Head of Performance Analysis at Oldham Athletic from September 2022 to December 2023, where a comprehensive First Team Analysis department was established, focusing on player-centric analysis and collaboration with coaching staff. Daniel has extensive experience in performance analysis, having previously worked as a Performance Analyst at In-Play Sports and as an Academy Performance Analyst during a student placement at Preston North End FC. Additional roles include serving as Reserves & Academy Performance Analyst at Salford Red Devils, a Performance Analyst Intern at AFC Fylde, and a Cinema Host at ODEON Cinemas. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Coaching & Performance from the University of Central Lancashire and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Data Science at BPP.
