Geert Raaijmakers

Geert Raaijmakers is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in company and securities law. Since September 2007, Raaijmakers has served as a Professor of Company and Securities Law at VU University in Amsterdam. Additionally, Raaijmakers has been a Partner at NautaDutilh N.V. since October 2006. Prior to these roles, Raaijmakers was a Professor of European Securities Law at Maastricht University from 2004 to 2006 and worked as Legal Counsel at ABP from 2000 to 2006. Raaijmakers began a legal career as an attorney at CMS Derks Star Busmann from 1994 to 2000 while also holding the position of Vice Chief Legal Counsel at ABP Investments during the same period. Raaijmakers holds a degree from Tilburg University, completed in 1994, and attended Eckart College from 1982 to 1988, where VWO was obtained.
