James Wang

James Wang PhD is an experienced professional in reagent development and process engineering, currently serving as Manager of Reagent Process Development at GRAIL since June 2021. In this role, James manages a team focused on Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) IVD products, overseeing aspects such as reagent manufacturing, analytical QC, and scale-up processes. Previous positions include Senior Scientist at Pacific Biosciences, focusing on reagent development for NGS kits, and various leadership roles at Danaher Corporation and Molecular Devices, where significant contributions included launching multiple reagent products and developing patented technologies. James holds degrees from The University of Sheffield, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and University of California, Riverside.
