Kevin Chen

Kevin Chen is a Bioinformatics Scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently working at Nautilus Biotechnology since January 2020. Prior roles include Bioinformatics Scientist positions at Agilent Technologies and Tecan, along with a consulting role at The BALSA Group, where Kevin assessed patent applications and researched market opportunities. Kevin has a strong academic background, having earned a Ph.D. in Computational Biology and Microbiology from Washington University in St. Louis, where research focused on RNA-seq data analysis and genomic variant mapping. In addition, as the founder and developer of Clinquery, Kevin led a start-up team to improve physician-patient communication through innovative electronic medical questionnaires. Kevin's earlier experiences include undergraduate research at Michigan State University and an internship focused on software development.
