Mirelys Santana

Mirelys Santana is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the accounting field. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Nava Benefits since September 2022, Mirelys addresses the challenges of rising health insurance premiums in a market where employers feel powerless. Prior to this role, Mirelys held the position of Senior Manager and Accounting Manager at Hyperscience, where automation technology was utilized to modernize operations for major organizations. Mirelys also contributed significantly at Electric AI as a Senior Accountant in a rapidly growing startup, and at CFA Society New York, serving in several accounting positions, ultimately managing financial reports and ensuring compliance with GAAP. Mirelys began the professional journey with an internship at HFA and developed strong mathematical tutoring skills at Lehman College while earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
