Yoom Lam

Yoom Lam is a Senior Software Engineer at Nava, where they have been since September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Researcher & Technologist from October 2017 to September 2019. Before that, they were a Research Scientist at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin from December 2005 to October 2017.

Lam has a long history of working in research and development. Yoom has experience in project management, team management, and developing financial planning webtools. Yoom is also the creator of the Core-Facets framework, which models cyber-observables and identifies potential insider threats.

Lam's work has been instrumental in developing several key technologies used by the Navy. In particular, their work on ship lifecycle management has streamline the process for high-level stakeholders and contractors. Additionally, their work on automating the data analysis process has helped analysts create more accurate intelligence reports.

Their manager is Krista Davis, Software Engineering Lead. They are on a team with Michael Chouinard - Senior Software Engineer, Brian Gantick - Software Engineer, and Sheena Bryant - Software Engineer.
