Vijay Haswani is a finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and credit risk assessment. Currently serving as Co-founder and Head of Risk at Navadhan Capital since August 2019, Vijay previously held significant roles at IntelleGrow, where responsibilities included overseeing credit risk and new product initiatives, and at Dhanlaxmi Bank Limited, focusing on credit sanctions and portfolio management in the Karnataka region. Earlier experience also includes leadership positions at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd. and Ing Vysya Bank, where Vijay managed secured loan portfolios and large ticket deals. Academically, Vijay holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the Institute Of Technology And Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University.

Navadhan is a confluence of ‘Nava’ (new) and ‘dhan’ (wealth). We aim for ‘new-wealth creation’ for under-banked households by improving access to finance so that they can leverage their income generating opportunities. We intend to serve the missing middle between micro-finance and traditional SME lenders in India. Our innovative stage wise delivery of multiple credit products is aimed at meeting varied credit needs based on their cashflows - linked to seasonality and peculiarities of micro-markets.
