Michael Hofer

Michael Hofer has an extensive work experience spanning several roles and companies. Michael is the Chief Financial Officer at Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC), a mining industry leader with properties in New Mexico, Montana, and Wyoming. At Grass Valley, a technology provider for the live media and entertainment market, they served as the CFO and led various financial initiatives and transformations. Prior to that, they worked at Kapsch TrafficCom AG as the CFO for the Americas, overseeing finance operations and strategic acquisitions. Michael also held the position of CFO and VP of Finance and Chief Marketing Officer at Skidata, a provider of access solutions for recreational venues, where they led a major restructuring and achieved significant sales growth. Earlier in their career, they served as the International Controller at Sony DADC, managing financial planning and analysis for manufacturing plants across Asia and Australia. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in finance, strategic planning, and organizational growth.

Michael Hofer received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg from 1993-2000. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Accounting and Finance from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2005-2007. Following that, they completed a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Regis University from 2007-2009. In 2017, they attended The Wharton School for the Advanced Management Program, specializing in Organizational Leadership. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from AICPA, but the exact date of obtaining it is unknown.
