Alyssa Olson is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in strategic initiatives and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Communications at the Naval Postgraduate School Foundation & Alumni Association since March 2021, Alyssa plays a critical role in addressing complex challenges faced by the Department of Defense. Previously, Alyssa was a Communications Strategist at Alyssa Dawn, guiding nonprofits and small businesses in creating effective communication strategies. At the Special Operations Warrior Foundation from 2011 to 2021, Alyssa held various positions, culminating in the roles of Communications Strategist and Community & Business Relations Manager, contributing significantly to the organization's mission of supporting Special Operations personnel and their families.
