Anré Williams is a senior business leader with over 35 years of experience in financial services, fintech, enterprise technology, and business travel services. He currently serves as senior executive advisor at American Express, where he provides strategic counsel on enterprise-wide initiatives.
From 2021 to 2025, Anré was CEO of American Express National Bank and Group President of Enterprise Services, overseeing the company’s U.S. banking operation responsible for over 60 percent of the company’s total revenues. Previously, he led American Express’ Global Merchant & Network Services, managing relationships with millions of merchants worldwide as well as the company’s payments network, strategic partnerships, and international loyalty programs. Over his career at American Express, he has held various senior leadership positions spanning Small Business Services, Global Corporate Payments, and Global Merchant Services organizations.
Anré holds a B.A. from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Express Executive Committee, the Wharton Board of Advisors, and the USA Track & Field Foundation Board.
