Kelly Kavanagh

Kelly Kavanagh serves as the DDG Phase 6 & DCE ILS Lead at Navantia Australia, overseeing the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program for the Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyer capability enhancement since February 2018. Previously held the position of Senior ILS Engineer, delivering comprehensive ILS services to support the sustainment of various naval platforms. Additionally, as an Expedition Member, participated in The Spirit Lives Antarctic Expedition in 2022-2023, marking a historic ADF Veteran team journey to the South Pole. Prior to these roles, Kavanagh contributed as an ILS Engineer at Communications Design & Management Pty Limited, providing ILS and field engineering support for significant naval acquisition and modernization programs. Kavanagh's early career includes service in the Royal Australian Navy, where roles ranged from Electronics Technician to Electronics Instructor, focusing on maintenance, operation, and technical training for critical naval systems.
