Tommy Gates

Tommy Gates has extensive work experience in coaching and athletic coordination. Tommy started their career in 1985 as the Head Boys Basketball Coach and Teacher at Comanche Independent School District. Tommy then went on to work as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Houston Baptist University and as an Assistant and Head Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Nevada, Reno. Tommy also held positions at the International Trade Company as a Project Manager and at various school districts as the Girl's Athletic Coordinator and Head Girl's Basketball Coach. Their most recent role was as the Assistant Athletic Director and Head Girl's Basketball Coach at Navasota Independent School District.

Tommy Gates obtained a Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas Wesleyan University between 1982 and 1985. Additionally, Tommy Gates attended McLennan Community College, where they obtained an Associate's degree, although the specific dates are unknown.
