Sungju Kim

Sungju Kim is an AI Research Engineer and Tech Lead at NAVER Cloud since January 2023, focusing on developing advanced Voice Agents through AudioLLM research and creating a GitHub Copilot-like product for internal developers. Prior to this role, Sungju Kim worked at NAVER Corp from July 2018 to January 2023, contributing to the Clova AI assistant team by designing production-grade deep learning models for the Clova AI speaker and NAVER's Voice search service. Earlier experience includes a position as an AI Researcher at Nomad Connection from February 2016 to July 2018, where machine learning solutions were developed, and as a Graduate Student Researcher at Kyungpook National University from January 2014 to February 2016, focusing on object detection and recognition using machine learning techniques. Sungju Kim holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, both from Kyungpook National University.
