Naviair
Jacob Haahr Nielsen is an experienced IT specialist currently employed at Naviair since March 2005, where Jacob has held multiple roles including team leader and service engineer. Prior to their tenure at Naviair, Jacob served as a service engineer with the Royal Danish Air Force from October 2002 to February 2005. Jacob's educational background includes a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Royal Danish Air Force, completed between 1999 and 2002, as well as studies in electronics and mechanics at Teknisk Skole Hillerød from 1998 to 1999, and an upper secondary school diploma in mathematics from Frederiksværk Gymnasium og HF, obtained from 1995 to 1998.
Naviair
Provision of air navigation services is Naviair’s first and foremost priority, i.e. to provide its services in an efficient and expeditious way, guiding aircraft safely through Danish airspace with minimum delays. Naviair offers training of all operative staff at its own college - of which that of Air Traffic Controllers constitutes the primary part - and operates and maintains the advanced technical systems and air navigation aids. The initial training takes place at Entry Point North, the joint Scandinavian Academy i Malmö. Naviair has a staff of approximately 640 persons most of which are Air Traffic Controllers and technical staff, and runs a business of approximately DKK 900m a year.
