Naviair
Lars Munk Sørensen is an experienced system engineer at COOPANS since 2007, specializing in the maintenance and engineering of the COOPANS ATM system, which manages aircraft control in Denmark. Concurrently, Lars has been a software engineer at Naviair since January 2001, contributing to the DATMAS project and gaining expertise through work in Thales, Paris. Prior experience includes a software engineer role at CRI from 1995 to 2001, focusing on software development, site integration, and customer consultation. Lars holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from Københavns Teknikum, earned between 1992 and 1994.
Naviair
Provision of air navigation services is Naviair’s first and foremost priority, i.e. to provide its services in an efficient and expeditious way, guiding aircraft safely through Danish airspace with minimum delays. Naviair offers training of all operative staff at its own college - of which that of Air Traffic Controllers constitutes the primary part - and operates and maintains the advanced technical systems and air navigation aids. The initial training takes place at Entry Point North, the joint Scandinavian Academy i Malmö. Naviair has a staff of approximately 640 persons most of which are Air Traffic Controllers and technical staff, and runs a business of approximately DKK 900m a year.
