Martin's career in air traffic control spans from 1990 to the present at Naviair, where a senior role has been held. Educational credentials include a degree in Air Traffic Control from ATS-skolen and a Studentereksamen in Mathematics and Physics from Svendborg Gymnasium. Early education was completed at Sundhøjskolen and Fløng skole.
