Sampriti Bhattacharyya is a CEO, Founder, and PhD Candidate with experience in the tech and research industries. In 2020, they became the CEO of Navier. Prior to this, they were the Founder of Hydroswarm from 2017-2020. From 2012-2017, they were a PhD Candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, researching the design and dynamic modeling of an autonomous underwater vehicle for submerged surface inspection. In 2012, they co-founded and served as Director of Lab-X Foundation, a 501c-3 non-profit based in Boston. In 2008, they were a Summer Intern at Fermilab, developing a method for on-site calibration of high current transducers.

Sampriti Bhattacharyya's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 2012 and 2017, a Masters in Aerospace Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2010 and 2012, a BTECH in Electrical Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology between 2005 and 2009, and a Science degree from South Point High School between 1991 and 2005.
