Sampriti Bhattacharyya

Sampriti Bhattacharyya is a CEO, Founder, and PhD Candidate with experience in the tech and research industries. In 2020, they became the CEO of Navier. Prior to this, they were the Founder of Hydroswarm from 2017-2020. From 2012-2017, they were a PhD Candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, researching the design and dynamic modeling of an autonomous underwater vehicle for submerged surface inspection. In 2012, they co-founded and served as Director of Lab-X Foundation, a 501c-3 non-profit based in Boston. From 2010-2012, they were a Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University, working on a new kind of passively safe subcritical nuclear reactor. In 2011, they were an Intern at NASA Ames Research Center, working on outer loop adaptive control for a Generic Transport Model. In 2010, they were a Research Fellow at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, designing and developing a low-cost high precision multi-sensor board. In 2009, they were an Intern at Fermilab, working on digital PID regulation of Power Supplies for the Vertical Test Magnet Facility. In 2008, they were a Summer Intern at Fermilab, developing a method for on-site calibration of high current transducers.
