Phillip Winter has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles within the yachting, maritime, and sales industries. Phillip is currently the Vice President of Global Yacht Sales at Navigare Yachting since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Partner Manager at Navigare Yachting from April 2019 to August 2022.
Before joining Navigare Yachting, Phillip Winter served as the President/General Manager of NAOS YACHTS inc from June 2013 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the exclusive brokerage of Lagoon Catamarans and Beneteau Yachts in Southern California and Los Angeles County.
From July 2010 to December 2012, Phillip Winter worked as the VP of Visitor Operations and Marketing at Santa Catalina Island Resort Services-Two Harbors. In this role, they oversaw the operations and marketing of a $12M division that operated hotels, campgrounds, and moorings around Catalina Island. Phillip achieved an 18% increase in hospitality revenue through effective marketing initiatives.
Phillip Winter also has experience in sales and business development. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Sales and Business Development professional at Knight and Carver Wind Group, where they led negotiations with wind farm owners for long-term contracts and expanded the suite of offerings.
Prior to that, Phillip Winter served as the VP of Investor Relations at Tonogold Resources, Inc. from August 2004 to August 2009. Phillip led the marketing program for the publicly traded mining company and raised over $8 million for exploration and development of mining projects.
Their earlier roles include working as the General Manager at HMS Global Maritime from April 1999 to August 2004, the Managing Director at International Communication Management from 1993 to 1999, and the Compound Manager for Le Defi Francais America's Cup from February 1991 to October 1992.
Phillip Winter started their career as a Charter Captain from 1987 to 1991.
Phillip Winter obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Marine Biology and Ecology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Phillip attended the university from 1978 to 1982.
