John Dejesus

John DeJesus is a seasoned data scientist and project manager with experience spanning multiple educational and technological environments. Currently at Navigate360 since February 2023, John has enhanced internal efficiency through the development of an AI application and improved alert insights via production code. Previously, at the NYC Department of Education from April 2020 to February 2023, John automated data requests and analyzed public-facing metrics to enhance student outcomes. John's career also includes collaboration on a Teacher Visualization Web App during a tenure at SharpestMinds and vital data-driven decision-making at New Visions for Public Schools. With teaching experience as a high school mathematics educator and adjunct lecturer at City College of New York, John's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a Secondary Education minor.
