Monica Howard

Monica Howard has an extensive work experience in the environmental and regulatory field. Monica is currently serving as the VP Environmental and Regulatory at Navigator CO2 Ventures since October 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Environmental and Regulatory at Transect from July 2020 to October 2021.

Monica also worked at Phillips 66 as a Project Consultant from June 2019 to July 2021. Before that, they served as the Sr. Director Land and Project Permitting at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP from September 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they led a team of professionals responsible for environmental and non-environmental permitting, land acquisition, regulatory assessments, compliance, and reporting, as well as construction oversight and compliance.

Their earlier experience includes working as Director Environmental Services, Engineering/Construction at Energy Transfer from September 2006 to August 2017, where they managed environmental components of capital improvement projects and provided expert witness testimony. Monica also worked as an Environmental Project Manager at AECOM from June 2000 to August 2006, where they conducted environmental consulting for various projects.

Monica Howard attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in Land Reclamation with a focus on Reclamation.
