Kathy Scarbrough

Kathy Scarbrough has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kathy started their career at Singing River Hospital as a Marketing Specialist, where they provided marketing support and planned advertising strategies. In 1997, they joined Navigator Credit Union as the Chief Communications Officer, responsible for achieving goals and objectives for loan, asset, and member growth. Kathy oversaw marketing, advertising, media contact, community relations, public education, and disaster communications. Kathy also wrote, designed, and produced all credit union publications and collateral materials. Additionally, they served as the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing operations in ten branch locations and implementing strategies for member service delivery. Under their leadership, the credit union experienced significant growth in assets, loans, membership, locations, checking account penetration, and electronic services usage. In 1998, Kathy took on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer, where they elevated the professionalism of the organization and developed hiring standards, procedures, and job descriptions. Kathy recruited, hired, trained, and developed all credit union employees. Overall, Kathy's work experience showcases their expertise in marketing, communications, operations, and human resources.

Kathy Scarbrough has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Public Relations from Mississippi University for Women. Kathy also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from William Carey University.
