David Edwards

David Edwards has a strong background in information technology and services, with experience spanning over two decades. David is currently working as the Head of Information Technology at Navigator Gas, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Head of Information Services at Harbour Energy from 2021 to 2021. In this role, they managed the Information Services team and ensured the safe delivery of IT services during a corporate merger.

Before that, David worked at Premier Oil, where they held various roles starting from 2001. As Group Head of Information Services, they developed a cloud computing program and digitalization strategy. David also implemented major asset management and production management systems, and created a new IS operating model aligned with the business. David also served as the Group Head of IT, overseeing IT operations and supporting the company's organic growth into new territories.

Earlier in their career, David worked as an Information Manager at Premier Oil and held positions at Western Geophysical/Western Geco as a Log Analyst and at Halliburton as a Logging Engineer. Overall, David Edwards has a wealth of experience in IT management, strategy, and operations, as well as expertise in mergers and acquisitions and data management.

David Edwards attended Collyer's Sixth Form College from 1987 to 1989. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology at the University of Birmingham from 1989 to 1992.
